5 Things you should do this weekend for your mind

The UK is due to have an amazing two weeks weather wise and it's the perfect opportunity to check in on yourself and how you're feeling and work on your mind. Try and make some time this weekend for yourself and make sure you're doing things which benefit you mentally.

Here are some of our top tips on how you can work on your mind this weekend.

Go on a walk

This is a must this weekend, The sun is shining and it's a perfect time to go and absorb all that vitamin D we've been lacking all Winter. Head out and explore your local area or be a bit more adventurous and head to another walking destination. Stick on a podcast to zone out or just simply listen to your surroundings. It's a great way to clear your mind and take some time for yourself.

Tidy your space

A tidy room is a tidy mind. Dedicate some time this weekend to tidying your space, whether it's your bedroom, your whole house or your work area. It's something that can be put off as a chore but once you get it done you will feel a huge weight lifted off your shoulders and everything will start falling into place. I'd recommend adding this to the start of your list so you can get it over and done with and you have a nice tidy space to live in over the weekend.

Read something

Even if it's just a couple of pages, reading is great for the mind. It can transport you into a different world or teach you things you didn't know. It can also be super peaceful. Grab a book this weekend and start reading.

See friends

Make plans with your friends and have fun! It's so important to keep in touch with your friends and have a laugh! Head out to lunch or have a girls night in/ Pamper night! I promise you'll feel so great afterwards.

Make a list for the week

This will release the jumble you  have in your head of what you need to do. Whether it's what you need to do at work which days, meal plan for the week or just write a general list of what needs doing round the house, lists are a great way to de clutter the mind and will leave you feeling relaxed once your time is planned. Don't forget to add self care and things for yourself into the list though, it's important to avoid burnout by making sure you're looking after yourself.

Have the best weekend!
